When I enter a modelling ORG, I aim for the finals, and when there's a red carpet, I tend to make sure my player at least one picture for all shoots. Captain America and Chun-Li had nothing, but I still chose them. When I found out I had an extremely large sum of money coming my way (1k from tax return, 1k from youth allowance because I'm a student, 1.8k from my monthly pay (OH MY GOD, I HAVE MONEY!!!)), I asked my good friend Allain (Leon) de Leon "Can you draw my a picture of Chun-Li and Captain America on the red carpet, with Chun-Li in this dress?" "Okay, that's usually $200 per character, but for you I'll do $300", he said.
Unfortunately Captain America is up against two women for the red carpet, and men's red carpet fashion is dreadfully boring. I've peaked at what Alice and Korra can offer, so I hope I can pull through to the portfolio battle once more. Truthfully, I was hoping this wouldn't be the last photoshoot, because Chun-Li's half was stunning.
Grell: It's interesting the situation you were in with this photo. It does seem like a missed opportunity with Captain America's outfit. You've said it yourself that most men's suits are boring. Seems a shame to not take the chance to add some pizzazz to the suit by either bringing in some colors or making ties to your character's connection to the military. However, I will not grade you on missed opportunity but on what we have. Captain America looks great in the shot. The artist is very talented here. Top notch! He does get out-shined by Chun Li(which because of what happened in this season, I suggested a twist/element to the judges for future seasons if players are modeling with two characters). I also think it would have worked out for you more if they were separated because it leaves you having to cut off his arm.
Jensen: I love this. The artist is extremely talented!! I'm glad you didn't add colour to the tux because you are right, that would be tacky. This is great. I don't know what else to say. Love it!!
Doctor: There are TONS of ways to add to the tux without making it look tacky; color or no. I was talking with Grell in private about uniform regulations. If it'd be appropriate to wear it at a red carpet event. I Googled, but never found an answer. If so, that would've been a cute look IMO. Anyhoo...not the point...
You look very handsome and there's nothing negative I have to say. You look great, but you're crazy! lol Spending $300 for an ORG! xD I wish you the best of luck, hun.
Grell: Very riskay look you have going on. Art style is amazing here and I'm loving the colors. The red platform shoes are to die for and your face is stunning. My only nitpick is the signs attached to your dress. It cheapens the dress and really make it from being sexy to straight up suggesting sex having the arrows point right at her crotch. I can just imagine her lifting the skirt up to have her panties read "Here." Not interested in peeking at that rabbit hole! Again though, aside from that nitpick, this is a great submission.
Jensen: I love love love the dress! It's sexy. But I agree with Grell that the signs on it are tacky. I love the shoe, but hate that there's a leg missing. Not a bad ending to your journey in the game
Doctor: I'm keeping it short this round with my critiques. You all look so amazing and all went very different styles. I think yours is gorgeous and you took a risk here. The tags are cute and yes a little tacky, but I kind of like them. lol The dress itself is quirky and it just adds extra quirky. Best of luck!
I'm ready for my closeup, Mister DeVille.
Ok, so a little background real quick. I never realized that in the close to 15,000 images I searched that there would be a serious lacking of Korra in a dress! I know that Korra is a tomboy, but man, I didn't think this photoshoot was going to be this hard. I was about ready to cry because I kept doubting that I would get that kickass photo.
Grell: I believe your time in searching truly paid off but I'm in love with this dress! No negative comment what so ever, not even nitpicks. Your whole outfit ties very close to your Water Tribe origins. The dress itself is very much reminiscent of the blue ocean while the earrings have the water tribe symbol. Normally back shots can be tricky because you're preventing the viewer from seeing the front, but for this kind of dress, the pose is prefect. You want us to see the exposed back to make the look elegant and sexy at the same time. I'm personally blown away by with photo! Amazing job this round.
Jensen: The dress is gorgeous. I really like this outfit. Suits you very well. I love the back veiw. I don't like your hair, because the hair looks a bit messy/greasy. After a second look though, the face is really cute. Your angles are nice as well. The dress is really gorgeous.
Doctor: I'm keeping it short this round with my critiques. You look STUNNING for every reason the other judges said. I can see what Jensen said about the mess/grease, but I kind of feel like it goes with the feel of the dress. A watery vibe. I dunno. Great job this shoot. Best of luck! ^.^
